Dietary rehabilitation addresses both the emotional and physical aspects of disordered eating. Assessment considers your lifestyle and very importantly, your relationship with food, and we look at any underlying factors, that may have affected this.
Eating in a disordered manner disrupts the brain hormones and this has to be stabilised through the correct balance of macro-nutrients (proteins/carbohydrates/fats), in order for you to achieve your goals and maintain a healthy weight through normal eating.
I will work collaboratively with you to address your specific needs. I will coach and mentor you through each course, undertaking skills based tasks that will strengthen your emotional resilience, improve self-confidence and self-esteem.
I will practice Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to help unblock the emotional pathways that may be preventing you from moving forward. I will provide you with the tools and knowledge to fully understand the physiological cycle of yo-yo dieting and provide you with meal plans, to suit your lifestyle, to ensure these destructive cycles disappear for good.
Eventually you can feel more in control of your health and life, and improve your relationship with food.
